| The first work that Eddie signed himself! |
In this painting we see the sun; below it are some clouds, including a "cloud shaped like a mountain" on the right. At the bottom are three people, who Eddie says are Fred, Bred, and Tred (from right to left).
UPDATE:
Since posting, the names of these people have been canonicalized as Fred, Bed, and Pillow (from right to left).
And they go nicely with the calendar for September, which shows Eddie the artist as a younger man!
ReplyDeleteWow, the first signed masterpiece! Better hang on to that one. I think I would have recognized Fred, Bred, and Tred even he hadn't identified them. The resemblance is uncanny.
